This Self-Extractor detects all modifications made to the executable part of the file. In the case that a file curruption is detected a message appears and the extractor terminates.

In >90% of all cases, this corruption is caused by a virus infection. Most viruses today replicate themselves by patching their own code into existing executables without destroying them. 

1. Usually the websites you downloaded files from are clean. 
2. Infected PCs can infect files while you are still downloading them
